MY PERSONAL REVIEW

I went to Dr. Paulson to get my front and inner thighs, and lovehandles (flanks) done by Vaser. I chose to go to him because he used Vaser, and he was priced much lower than other doctors. Not only that, but he did consultations in remote ND towns so that made it convenient for me to see him. At consult he suggested that I should do my hips/outer thighs. I refused, I loved my curves!

The nursing staff was absolutely awful as I was coming out of anesthesia, swearing at me and handling me very roughly. Later that night, the pain in my hips was almost unbearable! However, my thighs were not even sore.

I lost 3 inches off my hips, and none off of my thighs. Dr. Paulson completely destroyed my curvy silhouette without doing any of the areas he was supposed to. I wanted my love handles done to enhance my curves. He later told me that his definition of flanks was the sides. He doesn't like to turn people during surgery. The "flank" area he did turned out to be my lower lateral abdominal area. When I voiced my complaints to the staff, they refused to see me, and finally set up an appointment at a time when they knew no other customers would be in the office.

Dr. Paulson had the nerve to tell me that I "looked much better than before". Finally, he offered to "fix" the surgery if I was willing to pay the facility fees, but after him not doing a thing I asked him to before, why would I trust him again? I couldn't get anyone to pick up the lawsuit because it was only $5500.

Two and 1/2 years and 10k later, I finally have my hips back, from aggressive liposuction of my true flanks I now have curves again. Thank goodness I researched and found a wonderful Dr. (Peter Vogt, in Minneapolis) who listened to my vision for my body. I wish I would have spent the extra time and money and went to him in the first place. I also have healed much more smoothly and been a lot less sore, even though he uses the traditional tumescent technique and not vaser.

Dr. Paulson does do a good job on tummy tucks, I have seen good results on several of my friends. However, he is not the man to go to for lipo or breast augmetation! Save yourself the pain!
