In 2007, I decided I was going to have a tummy tuck. I searched around and thought I had found the right doctor (Dr. David Ross). He was charming and seemed knowledgeable. In June of that year, I underwent the tummy tuck. I paid $8,700.00 for a tummy tuck that gave me a pot belly. I went back to the doctor numerous times and his response was always, "it's swelling, it will go away" or "if you lose weight, it will go away." Lose weight, I am 5'1 and weigh 110 pounds. I am average. I only wanted to the remove excess skin I was left with after giving birth to my two children. I did consult another professional who was highly recommended by a co-worker who had the same procedure done and had an excellent outcome. This professional told me that my procedure was not done well and my abdominal muscles were not tightened. I was not surprised as my abdominal muscles did not feel tight. I was going to have the procedure corrected by this doctor, but I currently cannot financially afford it. Now, it is now almost two years later and I still have the pot belly. Please do not use this doctor!
