MY PERSONAL REVIEW

I went in for a reduction and the staff and Dr. John Ward were very good at selling their services. I ended up having a breast reduction and tummy tuck July 2007. I was a DDD and didn't care the surgery was going to cost me over $16,000. I've lived a long time with back pain and having trouble finding things to fit my large chest. Dr. Ward assured me my surgery would drastically reduce my size. After being in surgery for 9 hours, I could'nt wait to see my results. The day my bandage came off my breast I almost fainted and had to sit down. They seemed even bigger. He assured me it was swelling. The next few weeks were hell. Most of his staff was rude and not helpful. However, his receptionist Mary was amazing. One of his staff members changed my dressings and said to continue to massage my implants...I never recieved implants (that shows how big they were and how much his staff new about his patients). He assured me that I needed 6 monhts to a year to see full results. I still fit into my DDD bras and just had scars to remind me of the money and pain I was put through for minimal results. A year later, I went back to John Ward and told him they were too big. He sat down and worked out numbers and said he would redo it for another $4,000 (like he was cutting me a deal). The dumb office staff even sent me a follow up letter after that meeting stating I was a "perfect candidate" for breast reduction surgery. Thought that was odd...since the first time wasn't a success and I was told my breast tissue just grew back. I know that was untrue. The day after surgery I was never smaller and 2 years later I'm happy to say I'm getting another breast reduction surgery this Friday. I feel so relieved to find a doctor that listens, has helpful staff members, and is going to make my dream finally come true. I'm not saying Dr. John ward is a bad doctor, I just think he is great at selling a service and then once he gets your money you will see a difference in their customer service. I don't think Dr. Ward is the best doctor for reduction. Please reconsider seeing him if that is what you are trying to accomplish.
