I did alot of research and found Dr. Kim's information and felt that he was qualified and experience with fillers according to the reviews. Well, I went in for a consultation and the staff was very friendly, but when Dr. Kim came into the room, he spent about 5 minutes. He looked at me and said that he would recommend Obagi products (450) for my face and Juverderm (550) for my under eyes. I told him I couldn't afford both but with his expertise which would he recommend, he said Juverder will give me an immediate results. I said ok to the Juverderm! Well, he stuck me then left me with his nurse. i thought he would return to explain any side effects or any concerns I may had, but he was off to his next appointment without my knowledge. A total of 15 minutes..
This was my first procedure and I figured the swelling and bruising would have been gone in a week, but it wasn't. Individuals that know me kept asking if I had allergies, so I called Dr. Kim's office and explain my problem, the schedule me to come in. Dr. kim seem very impatient, cold, shown no compassion to my concerns and said I look fine and it he dissolves the juverderm he will charge me. Before I knew it, he was off to another appointment leaving me once again. I felt hurt because my face does not look right. My left side is fine, but my right eye looks like I got stung by a bee and has a black bruise that can't be covered with makeup. Everyone I come in contact ask if I'm having an allergic reaction even my six year daugther said, "mommy your eye is ugly". Yet, Dr. Kim said I look fine!
I am disappointed in the results but more disappointed in the way Dr. Kim handled the situation.
