I chose him (stupidly) because he is the only surgeon in Vancouver who advertises epicanthoplasty on his website. This was the biggest mistake of my life. The surgery was a complete failure, odd shape, scars, excess skin, looks even worse than before. He does not understand or know how to do this surgery. I think he has NO training in this. He just read about this surgery and thinks he can do it. It was absolutely horrifying to see my eyes after. He did the wrong surgery or performed it incorrectly. I am reduced to just locking myself in my home... it's truly heartbreaking for me. I am 22 years old. My only hope is to find a specialist that can fix the mess he made. I am so stupid for choosing him, but I believe he is irresponsible for claiming he knows how to do Asian eyes. Shame on you Bartlett. You are extremely rude and cold, I do not know what is wrong with you. Surgeons must know their limitations because you can seriously harm your patients if you add all boastful and say you can do anything. I have been crying so much over this. He took away any ounce of confidence I had... it's just so hard seeing my eyes butchered every day. No words can describe my pain.
