***OFFICE VISIT ONLY *** I went to Dr. Kalus for an abdominoplasty and wanted smoothing done for an area that was overly lipoed by Dr. Kroll before he lost his medical license. Dr. Kalus had me wait at least 45 min in the front office waiting room, then another hour or so in the exam room, then after less 5 minutes with me in the exam room, he stepped out to take a personal call, and came back 20 minutes later. That aside, I had an issue with rippling over my lipoed abdomen and wanted to get his opinion of an abdominoplasty. What he offered as a sole solution was inserting a cadaver muscle over my own muscle to allegedly smooth out my abdomen. Only one issue, the pockets of fat are adhering randomly to my body -- so layering somthing smooth over my already smooth muscle will not alter the pockets of uneven fat across my abdomen. He was so bent on that procedure, I felt he was trying to use my body and medical need to get his own experience with using cadaver parts. Needless to say, I was totally appalled that he had no other solution toward an abdominoplasty that I could work with. I consider him lacking medical experience and knowledge due to that issue. Of course, now using cadaver parts is explicitly prohibited, but for a while, it was an option -- it just was wronging considered as my only option when I sought care from Dr. Kalus.
