MY PERSONAL REVIEW

I've tried filling my lips with juvederm at Dr. May's clinic, the operation was smooth and flawless. However, I decided that after five months, I needed to refill the lips just a bit. Local juvederm injection on the lips is not supposed to cause complications and will leave yout lips swollen for a few days.
The quantity of the product was tiny: only a quarter on the upper lip and half on the lower lip. It's been three days after my visit and I look as if I've just had my nose done. My face is swollen and my lips are getting smaller (Thank God because I left her clinic looking like a clown). She injected 15 needles of anesthetic because the anesthetic she was using wouldn't numb my lips properly. And then she proceded with injecting the product in my lips (which makes it a total of approx twenty needles injected and I still felt the pain). I now look like I've had nose surgery and I regret the whole procedure. My whole face is bruised and I have work tomorrow. I have never been that dissatisfied with a doctor. I am now researching ways to calm down the swelling. I wish I had ACTUAL surgery probably simple lip agmentation with a few stitches, would've caused the same hassle but lasted my whole life.
I would advise you to check out Dr. Tabet for other dermatological reasons, however for a quick lip filling, I wouldn't, unless you have ten days to take out of your work schedule (go have a real surgery while you're at it.)
