I recently had a rhinoplasty operation from Dr. Michael Eisemann. I wanted to get this procedure done from a top rater doctor in Houston. Eisemann is triple board certified and a certified ENT. I thought his experience would best suite my procedure. He was so nice during the consultation. I trusted that he would do a great job. The day of my surgery, everything changed. The procedure was in his suite, not in the actual hospital. He administered the anesthesia himself. I was awake during the entire procedure because I was not given enough anesthesia. This was completely traumatizing. He knew I was awake because I repeatedly told him I was in pain during the surgery. Afterwards, he told my parents I was making it up and just dreamed it. They talked to a real anesthesiologist and he confirmed that I was not given enough. I was in complete pain for about 2 weeks. I told him that I needed more medicine or soemthing to help me get through it, but he refused. He was cold and had no bed side manner. It's been a month since my surgery and I still can't even breath. This procedure was suppose to help my breathing since I had a deviated septum. Clearly, it hasn't helped. Also, there is a bump on the side of my nose that was not there before. When I asked him about it, he told me it's my bone and that it should smooth out over time. So I have a rough, jagged edge bone sticking out on the side of my nose and the doctor doesn't seem to care. Please do everything you can to make sure this doctor doesn't hurt another patient. I will never recommend him and I will do everything in my power to make sure this doesn't happen to someone else!
