I was referred to Dr. Roberto Guerrero Daniel by a friend. She had surgery with him last year and has amazing results. I flew to D.R. feeling unsure of my decision, but was greeeted at the airport by the PlatiCenter driver Leo. (He is very sweet!) I arrived at the PlastiCenter and was greeted by kind and friendly staff. I saw the doctor the same day and had surgery that evening. Dr. Guerrero is a veteran, and can sometimes seem "overwhelmed" and "busy". But if you get a chance to sit down with him, he will make you feel comfortable. As far as professionalism, there is no comparison between Dr. Guerrero and his office mate Dr. Alexander Hernandez Pizziglio. (This guy, Dr. Pizziglio is by the book!) I guess Dr. Guerrero has his own way of doing things... My surgery went well and I had 6 liters of fat removed, according to Dr. Guerrero. I stayed at a recovery house with a woman, Ana Maria, or as I like to call her "the warden". LOL... She watches you like a hawk, can't leave the house and no "bad food". Also, beware of bed bugs. I brought back a dead one in my suit case... I had a few massages at the clinic and hated every minute of it. (The doctors use different massage therapists. I guess Dr. Guerrero's massage therpist needs a little more training) At 5 weeks post op, I am doing well. The results are fine so far. Dr. Guerrero is a good alternative for folks who can not afford the well known, super professional Dr. Alexander Hernandez Pizziglio, (Keep in mind they share the same clinic). He is funny and keeps it real. He is also inexpensive. So far, so good!
