Did you get any procedure(s) done by this doctor?   Yes
Date of your procedure(s):   December 5, 2011
Procedure(s) I had done:   None

I had been thinking about getting breast implants for a while, but I could not find a surgeon I trusted at a price I could afford. In December, 2011 I had to travel to Buenos Aires and I decided to take advantage of the time to finally have the procedure done. Before my trip, I researched top plastic surgeons in Buenos Aires and exchanged e-mail correspondence with several. I finally decided on Dr. Brosto based on my communication with his assistant, Laura. I was impressed with the time she took to answer all my specific questions and her willingness to make personalized arrangements (accommodation, etc.) before I even confirmed that I would be using Dr. Brosto.

In the consult with Dr. Brosto, I was concerned about size since I did not want to go too big. I am petite (5'2" and about 105 lbs, but with wide hips) and had previously thought of going with 250 cc. Dr. Brosto convinced me I would not be happy with the result. Ultimately it was my decision, but based on his professional experience and understanding of the look I wanted to achieve I went with 325 cc, mentor smooth, round, silicone implants, below the muscle, and armpit incisions.

Meanwhile, Laura dealt with all the details (arranging for the blood test to be done where I was staying, taxis, etc.) I had a huge problem accessing cash (I ended up having it sent through Western Union, but I had an issue picking it up which resulted in postponing the surgery several hours), but Laura was very patient and walked me through what I needed to do until we had everything figured out.

Finally, when I got to the hospital I was a little anxious, but the staff was extremely professional and made me feel at ease. The surgery went very quickly and I spent the night at the hospital. I had no complications and not much pain (I never even filled the prescription for painkillers), although it was quite uncomfortable the first few days. On my last day in Buenos Aires (8 days after surgery), Dr. Brosto removed the stitches.

The first few weeks, the implants were still quite swollen and high on my chest and I was worried that I had in fact gone too big. Now, about a month and a half later, they have settled more and I could not be happier with my decision. The size looks completely natural and in harmony with my body, all of my clothes fit a million times better, and I can feel confident wearing a bikini. The people that know can't get over what a good job Dr. Brosto did and plenty that don't know have commented on how good I look lately (but they can never quite put their finger on why).

Based on my experience with Dr. Brosto and his team I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a top plastic surgeon in Buenos Aires.
