Did you get any procedure(s) done by this doctor?   Yes
Date of your procedure(s):   August 15, 2012
Procedure(s) I had done:   None

I cam to Dr. Guyuron after he was referred to me by another doctor. I had never known anyone whose work he had done. Trusting him was the biggest mistake of my life. I simply needed some functional work for breathing issues, and while I was at it, he was going to make my tip less bulbous.

After my surgery my nose looked awful. The tip was wider, the middle part between my nostril hung down, and the bridge was bigger from a spreader graft he put in (which he promised would go unnoticeabe). He had me taping it up to a year later.

After a year he chose to do a revision. That made my situation far worse. Now four months later my nose is even wider, the tip has no definition, my external valves indent so it is obvious I had cosmetic work done, and the worst part: a collapsing nostril every time I breathe.

Dr. Guyuron says he never guaranteed anything. He says that noses can be unpredictable. I will have to have another surgery and pay for it all over again to correct his mistakes.

If I had to do it all over again, I would have found a doctor based on where he did his training (Guyuron went to medical school in Iran), reviews from real people who have experience with the doctor, and how comfortable you are with that doctor.

When I first say Dr. Guyuron, he was pleasant and spent time with me. After I signed a contract, he barely spent two minutes with me.

If I had read this review I never would have gone to him.
