IDr. Engler is a wonderful and very experienced surgeon. I would definitely recommend him for breast augmentation surgery. I am from Asia and work in the finance industry. My biggest concerns were scarring and a very unnatural "fake" look, especially in an office environment.

I've wanted breast implants for over 10 years, but was not even sure what size I wanted to get or where I would get them. I did research online and found testimonials for Dr. Engler on various websites. I was impressed by his credentials, post surgery photos and all the positive comments from his patients. While doing my research, I contacted several other surgeons in the NY area. I was surprised by Dr. Engler's very prompt replies to my emails, especially given the difference in time zones.

When I went to visit NYC and had the initial consultation in person, I was very nervous. I wasn't even 100% sure that I would go through with it because I've never had any major surgeries before. Dr. Engler had great bedside manners and was very patient with answering my long list of questions ( eg. scarring, best incision options, size, expected results, replacement, long term risks, etc). A few days after the initial consultation, I emailed Dr. Engler with further questions and concerns. He answered them all very promptly and professionally. As I debated whether I would go through with the surgery or not for over a week, I ended up going for two additional in person consultations with him before I finally decided that I would do it. I was surprised that Dr. E was very kind and patient with me. He was never pushy and always very friendly. This was not my experience at another high profile doctor in the NY area that I visited, who actually charged $250 consultation fee. Dr. E does not charge a fee and is very generous with his time.

The surgery itself was a pleasant experience. His staff, especially Arlene, is very nice as well! I was put at ease, and was surprised at how quickly (and painlessly) the surgery went. It might be because I chose a smaller sized implant ( though it's true, you will want bigger no matter what size you end up with.)
But I didn't even need to take painkillers days after the surgery. Just a Vicodin for the first two nights to help me sleep (while propped up in an uncomfortable upright position). The incision was also surprisingly smaller than expected. Dr.
E also gives his personal number to his patients and calls in personally to check in.

I am very happy with my experience and will definitely go back to Dr. E should I need any further procedures.
