Who are the surgeons names? I do know of two.. I wish I could go however, I just can't convince my family members to support me with that decision. And they are the ones who will care for my kids and my after care. I still am working on them, thou...

The surgeons are Dr. Quiroz at Csmed in Tijuana and DR. Caloca also in TJ. I go for my consult on 04/02/04 and hope to have surgery in May or early June.

those are the two I heard of. I would like to go to Mexico for my FTT/MR however, it sure is hard to get the support from my husband and mom who will be caring for me and my kids. Have you heard of Dr Gongora? There is a website where all of the ladies who had work done by him hang out...

Let me know how your consultation goes...

Hi I am Joy...I have couple of questions that maybe you can help me with I am going to Tijuana on may 11. I have a consult with Dr. Salas and Dr. Bucio. Did you have several consults or just one. Does the staff in Dr. Salas speak english. How long did it take you to cross the boarder? Any advice to make the experience better? Any suggestions? Thanks for your time.

My mom had a nose job and face lift in TJ a few years ago. I forgot the surgeons's name, but he isn't listed here. I have to say, she had a lot of complications (had to stay in the hospital there for 3 or 4 days) and I am not impressed with the outcome of her nose surgery. But other doctors could be excellent, although hers was highly recommended and she did research. However, she is happy she did it.

Dr. Manuel Gutierrez Romero is the best Certified Plastic Surgeon in Tijuana Mexico. I know at least more than a dozen people who have gone to him including myself and lots of my friends. I have had a full tummytuck and breast augmentation from him. My friend had a nose job and lipo. My results were awesome. A registered nurse who seen my incision told me that it was the best incision that she has ever seen from any doctor in the united states-she herself after seeing my results ended up going to Romero for implants and a arm lift. If interested his address is Paseo Tijuana 406, Edificio Lloyd, Zona Rio in Tijuana Phone (6)607-3692 usa-(619) 572-8981 his e-mail is manuelgutz@hotmail.com or www.estheticos.com

I want to go to Tijuana this week for a consultation for Liposuction and breast augmentation. If you can reffer someone you know is good I would really appriciate a refferal. Also, does anyone have any idea of the prices?
I also came across a procedure called "Vaser Liposelection" Does anyone know what that is, if any doctors in Tijuana do it and how much it costs?

Thank you everyone for any help with my questions!

Hey ladies!
I m back from TJ and had 4 counsultations with 4 PS. First let me tell you in advance, for those that are planning on visiting, get a TJ map! The web sites' maps are hard to read and the roads are even harder to figure out. Other than being totally lost, it was a good, educational experience.
First doctor I went to was Dr. Salas. A deffenate NO-NO in my opinion!!!He is NOT a plastic surgeon but an Ear-Throat-Nose specialist. He charges $40 consultation fee that they did not mentioned while making the appointment reason why I walked out that moment. Furthermore, $40 is high compare to others that charge a fee (usally $30). From what I heard on the grapevine, he does not have a good re****tion among the PS locally. While leaving, I met a patient of his that had TT and she paid $6,000 which is redicilous for TJ.
The other 3 PS where very nice, honest and did not try to "up-sell" me, meaning I was looking for lipo and BA but all 3 of them said I don't need BA because they are fine the way they are(Breasts)and once I have the lipo on my ab they ll look bigger. Dr. Vega-Montiel I believe uses the Vaser, Dr. Bucio the Super-wet and Dr. Quiroz regular wet (he charges a $30 fee for cncltn, the other 2 were free).
I ll be going back to meet with 3 more and I ll keep you posted. If anyone has questions, feel free to email me.
