hey guys well, heres my story, im a 19 year old teenager who always hated my huge hooked jewish looking nose lol, i had surgery 11 days ago and apparent froma sudden nosebleed that didnt stop for a while, im all good and healing nicely (the nosebleed was conteolled with antibiotics)
my bruises are just starting to disapear now and my cheeks arent as puffy as they wsere a few days ago so the chipmunk look is slowly disapearing! my tip is still somewhat piggish but getting better and better by the day.
I had my surgery with DR Paul O'keeffe, does anyone know this surgeon or had surgery with him ( i live in Australia, sydney btw)
anyways here are some pics of me before and me now. I had a septorhinoplasty to fix a deviated septum and striaghten my nose and shave off the bump on the bridge, give me your honest opinion guys! thx

posted by: fightstar | | Posted Sun, Sep 25 at 9:09 PM PDT | | i feel great! and its only been 11 days! my only criticsm is my nose tip is still kinda bulbious and swollen but im sure that most of that swelling will dissapear in bout 2 months, then complete swelling will subside prob around the 8 month mark, well thats my guess anyways |

posted by: Fuzz | | Posted Sun, Sep 25 at 9:14 PM PDT | the profiel view looks great! who was your PS? the only thing I am noticing, (and in just one picture) is the right nostril looks ever so slightly smaller than the left. ...but only in the one picture of the front view at the bottom left of the page, the other pics look even, might be the lighting. or swelling, which I wouldn't imagine would be even. But man the profile looks awesome, I would be really happy! and only 11 days post opwas it open or closed surgery? Good luck!
:).

P.S. I love the way you look with your hair swept off your face, very Al Pacino. Hot, Hot! |

posted by: cmavro | | Posted Mon, Sep 26 at 5:10 AM PDT | I think your new nose suits your face very well which I wish i could say the same about my nose. I too had surgery about 11 days ago and mine looks about 5% different.
In essence he hasnt done a bad job rather no job with maybe a max of 1.5mm shaved off when 5mm would have meant i wouldnt have needed a revision due my nose still looking large. It seems to me that there is more like an 80% chance one will need a revision rather than the 20% chance that is quoted by most surgeons.

I'm going in for my operation tomorrow to have done what you did and i hope my nose ends up looking as good as yours. I'm in Melbourne so i haven't heard of your surgeon, mines Dr Neill Vallance. |

posted by: nick.au | | Posted Tue, Sep 27 at 5:49 AM PDT | you lok just cool man. and don't worry about swelling and balloons on your nose, that will just disappear and balance itself. but DO NOT forget not to touch and hit-sleep on it, forcing with pillow... and last advice would be not to smoke and don't do drugs cause these affects the bone-cartilage healing harmony 'till it becomes %100 normal. im 28 and these are the mistakes i have done and after 5 years from the first surgery i am preparing to give a last shot (wish from God). and likely to be operated by dr O'keeffe. he is a good surgeon isn he? |

posted by: FrancineFishpaw | | Posted Tue, Sep 27 at 4:16 PM PDT | | You were a very handsome guy before the surgery to begin with. I think that you look very handsome still, albeit more youthful, and less ethnic, in your post pics (I hope this is a good thing?) If you look this great now, imagine how much better you will look after healing is completed. |

|
|
posted by: fightstar | | Posted Tue, Sep 27 at 9:58 PM PDT | exactly $5400 including 2 consultations and hospital stay.
im getting back $900 from medicare this week because some of my procedure was for medical reasons, so i guess in the end it was $4500 out of pocket.
Money definately well spent! |
