Introducing Newly Engineered Fabric: This garment features new fabric that offers more durable compression performance with an enhanced, four-way stretch for a better fit and a true “second skin” feel. The silky smooth fabric makes it easier to slip on and off. The fabric is remarkably lightweight and breathable, yet fiercely strong and durable. The fabric provides the compression control you need to optimize circulation and enhance healing, while giving you the “feel good” comfort that patients demand.

Product Description & Benefits: Made with adjustable Velcro closures for ease and strong, breathable and lightweight compression fabric that feels good next to the skin, this arm compression sleeves garment improves blood circulation, compresses the bleeding vessels, minimizes swelling after the procedure, flushes the body out of potentially harmful fluids, accelerates the healing process, and allows the patient to return to daily routines sooner. This compression garment also provides support to surgical areas for more comfort and helps the skin fit better to it new contours. The garment can be worn with a full body garment for added upper body compression and has adjustable Velcro closures for more comfort and ease of application. Appropriate for liposuction and arm procedures (lift, reduction, brachioplasty), as well as for arm procedures following gastric bypass or bariatric surgery.

This 100% latex-free garment is made of a strong, breathable and lightweight compression fabric that feels good next to the skin. Moreover, the garment is made of pattern designs that target maximum support and compression.

Instructions For Use: The garment is typically worn immediately after the surgery and continuously for several days (or longer depending on the doctor’s instructions). During the initial period of post-op, your doctor may instruct you to wear this garment constantly (even while sleeping) and only remove it when you need to go to the bathroom or to shower. As your healing progresses, you should be able to remove the garment for various activities. Once beyond the first few days of post-op and you are no longer required to wear the garment continuously, you may wear the garment on a non-continuous basis (for a certain number of hours a day) until 1-2 weeks post-op (or longer depending on the doctor). Generally, the amount of time you will need to wear your garment will be reduced as your move forward in your healing journey. The garment is worn like long underwear underneath your clothing. It is recommended to wear loose-fitting clothing over the garment.

Measuring Myself Correctly & Getting The Right Size: Knowing how to measure yourself correctly and getting the right size for your garment is the most crucial step of selecting a garment. For this reason, please view the Size Chart (and read the measuring tips) associated with this garment.

Garment Care: You may machine wash the garment in cold water only (with like colors), as washing in hot water can ruin the garment. You may also wash the garment by hand in cold water. For drying, tumble dry, low heat or allow the garment to be air/line-dried.

Important Healthy Tip: Due to heavy drainage and long, continuous periods of time that you may need to wear the garment, it is recommended to purchase 2 Stage One garments. Having two sets of garments will enable you to always have a freshly clean garment, while the soiled one is being washed.

Applicable Procedures: Liposuction (Biceps, Forearms), Arm Lift, Arm Reduction, Brachioplasty, Gastric bypass surgery, Bariatric surgery, Stomach stapling procedure.

By taylor12, August 11, 2009

What are the benefits/plusses of this product? They blend in with my cloths :-)

What are the disadvantages/minuses of this product? None

Review: I like the compression sleeves because they are comfortable, light weight, and they look nice under my cloths. The bandages that I was wearing were uncomfortable, and most of all they drew too much attention.

What are the benefits/plusses of this product? Comfortable, retains elasticity with constant use. Doesn't fray.

What are the disadvantages/minuses of this product? Wish they came in an elbow length. Just below the elbow would be perfect..

Review: I bought both size large and medium. I feel the medium was just a tiny bit snugger then the large. The big difference was the length. The large I could velcro on the tightest and it was good. The medium I had to velcro o...(read more)

Love It
By dina63, May 3, 2008

What are the benefits/plusses of this product? soft material and not a lot of it

What are the disadvantages/minuses of this product? nothing so far

Review: I like the material is very soft and nothing is showing in the front so you can wear low cut shirts. The price is better also. I have bought four different kinds since my surgery and this one seems to be the best.

great for arm lifts
By lesleyblocker, November 17, 2007

What are the benefits/plusses of this product? It works great!

What are the disadvantages/minuses of this product? none

Review: This is a great compression for arm lift surgery. It stays in place and doesn't fall down your arms because of the straps in back. It makes it an easier healing because you don't mind moving your arms a little more.

What are the benefits/plusses of this product? Keeps arms solidly compressed so moving around is easier

What are the disadvantages/minuses of this product? Can be irritating at the edges, especially up in the armpits.

Review: I wish I would have bought the solid white so it would look like an undershirt instead of a compression garment. The seam on the outside can look a little ugly, but is usually well hidden by a long sleeve shirt. Full l...(read more)
