Introducing Newly Engineered Fabric: This garment features new fabric that offers more durable compression performance with an enhanced, four-way stretch for a better fit and a true "second skin" feel. The silky smooth fabric makes it easier to slip on and off. The fabric is remarkably lightweight and breathable, yet fiercely strong and durable. The fabric provides the compression control you need to optimize circulation and enhance healing, while giving you the "feel good" comfort that patients demand.
Product Description & Benefits: The Women's Breast Surgery Compression Vest improves blood circulation, minimizes swelling after the procedure, keeps the implants in their correct position, flushes your body out of potentially harmful fluids, accelerates the healing process, and allows the patient to return to daily routines sooner. This garment also provides support to surgical areas for more comfort and helps the skin fit better to its new contours. Further, this garment can also help prevent a patient from experiencing some "throbbing" sensations after surgery. Finally, a compression vest can also help reduce tension on newly formed scars and prevent them from stretching. This bra is appropriate for breast augmentation, breast lift, and breast reduction.
This 100% latex-free garment is made of a strong, breathable and lightweight compression fabric that feels good next to the skin. The garment has quick and easy adjustable shoulder straps and adjustable plush shielded hook and eye front closure.
Instructions For Use: The garment is typically worn immediately after the surgery for a period of time that may range from days to weeks, depending on the doctor's instructions. During the initial period of post-op, your doctor may instruct you to wear this garment constantly (even while sleeping) and only remove it when you need to shower. As your healing progresses, you should be able to remove the garment for various activities. The garment is worn like a bra would underneath your clothing. It is recommended to wear loose-fitting clothing over the garment.
Measuring Myself Correctly & Getting The Right Size: Knowing how to measure yourself correctly and getting the right size for your garment is the most crucial step of selecting a garment. For this reason, please view the Size Chart (and read the measuring tips) associated with this garment.
Garment Care: You may machine wash the garment in cold water only (with like colors), as washing in hot water can ruin the garment. You may also wash the garment by hand in cold water. For drying, tumble dry, low heat or allow the garment to be air/line-dried.
Important Healthy Tip: Due to long, continuous periods of time that you may need to wear the garment, it is recommended to purchase 2 garments. Having two sets of garments will enable you to always have a freshly clean garment, while the soiled one is being washed.
Applicable Procedures: Breast Augmentation, Breast Lift, Breast Reduction.
