Product Description & Benefits: Made from soft, breathable cotton with adjustable Velcro strap for easy application, 2" wide band for secure bra positioning and keeping the bra from riding up, convenient front and back hook and eye closure, and no wiring and no seams for maximum comfort, the Allyssandra Bra - Lightweight Support helps improve blood circulation, minimizes swelling after the procedure, keeps the implants in their correct position, flushes the body out of potentially harmful fluids, accelerates the healing process, and allows the patient to return to daily routines sooner. Appropriate for a breast augmentation, breast lift, breast reduction, and mastectomy, this lightweight support bra also provides support to surgical areas for more comfort and helps the skin fit better to its new contours. Further, this garment can also help prevent a patient from experiencing some “throbbing” sensations after surgery. The bra may also help reduce the tension on newly formed scars and prevent them from stretching.
This bra has no seams at the surgical areas for extra comfort and to help avoid irritation of the incisions and areolas. For maximum comfort, this bra has no wiring in the cups. The bra is uniquely designed to contour to breast size after surgery. Therefore, no cup size measurement is required. Before surgery, measure around the body directly under the breast. This will determine the patient’s bra size.

Instructions For Use: The hook & eye closures found on the back of the bra should be fastened on the middle row of the hook & eye closures, the front hook & eye closures should be separated and the shoulder straps should be loosened. Slide your arms through the opening between the shoulder strap and bra, but do not tighten the shoulder straps. You should now be able to close the front hook & eye adjustments, starting at the bottom closure and working up. You can now adjust the shoulder straps to the desired comfort. If the bra is too tight or loose, take the bra off by separating the front hook & eye closures. You can loosen or tighten the bra by adjusting the back hook & eye closures. Please repeat the above steps to put the bra back on.
The bra is typically worn immediately after the surgery for a period of time that may range from days to weeks, depending on the doctor’s instructions. During the initial period of post-op, your doctor may instruct you to wear this bra constantly (even while sleeping) and only remove it when you need to shower. As your healing progresses, you should be able to remove the bra for various activities. The garment is worn like a bra would underneath your clothing. It is recommended to wear loose-fitting clothing over the garment.

Garment Care: Your garment can be hand washed. The garment should be washed in cold water and air/line-dried. Washing your garment in hot water or drying with an electric or gas dryer may ruin the garment. To remove any stains, the garment can be soaked in 2 or 3 gallons of cool water with 1/4 cup of peroxide added. After the garment has soaked, it can be hand washed and air/line-dried.
Important Healthy Tip: Due to long, continuous periods of time that you may need to wear the garment, it is recommended to purchase 2 garments. Having two garments will enable you to always have a freshly clean garment, while the soiled one is being washed.
