Worn once your Stage One garment (worn during initial 1-2 weeks of post-op) is no longer appropriate, this Stage Two garment also helps improve blood circulation, minimizes any swelling that remains, accelerates the healing process, and allows the patient to return to daily routines sooner. This compression garment also provides support to surgical areas for more comfort and helps the skin fit better to it new contours. In addition to being designed for skin retracting and body shaping, this garment is made to be particularly comfortable for long-term wear. This 100% latex and formaldehyde free garment is made of a strong, lightweight powernet fabric and lycra. The garment has a wide waistband, additional compression panels in the lower abdomen area that provide targeted compression, and lace trim on legs. The garment also has a reinforced open crotch, reinforced flat seams, and gripper lace to prevent roll up.
Thong Support Garment: The Thong Support Garment is provided as a bonus free product that normally sells for $12 outside the Kit. This garment helps minimize swelling that can descend downward to one's private region.
Instructions For Use: The following are the instructions for use for the products in the Kit:
Female Tram Flap Girdle (w/Zipper): If the zipper becomes snagged, please do not attempt to force the zipper in any direction. If the zipper does become snagged, please take the garment off (to reduce any tension on the zipper) and gently work the zipper until it moves freely again. Assume a seated position in a chair or on a bed and unzip all zippers completely (if the garment has two zippers on the sides, please un-zip both zippers). While seated, step your legs into the garment and slide it up to your knees and/or thighs. While remaining seated, you should now be able to gently position the garment into place on your upper body. Standing up very slowly and using the chair or bed to provide support, pull the garment fully into place, making sure the crotch opening is correctly positioned. If you do not feel comfortable standing up, please lie on your back to apply the garment. If the garment has shoulder straps, they can be positioned and fastened at this point. Please fasten the hook and eye closures on one side of the garment and then slowly pull the zipper closed. When one side of the garment has been zipped closed, you can now secure the hook and eye closures on the other side. Please note that this side will be more difficult to close. If you have someone assisting you, please ask them to help you with this second side. The hook and eye closures should be fastened and the zipper should be slowly pulled closed.
The garment is typically worn immediately after the surgery and continuously for several days (or longer depending on the doctor's instructions). During the initial period of post-op, your doctor may instruct you to wear this garment constantly (even while sleeping) and only remove it when you need to go to the bathroom or to shower. As your healing progresses, you should be able to remove the garment for various activities. Generally, the amount of time you will need to wear your garment will be reduced as your move forward in your healing journey. The garment is worn like long underwear underneath your clothing. It is recommended to wear loose-fitting clothing over the garment.

Measuring Myself Correctly & Getting The Right Size: Knowing how to measure yourself correctly and getting the right size for your garment is the most crucial step of selecting a garment. For this reason, please view the Size Chart (and read the measuring tips) associated with this garment.
Garment Care: Your garment can be hand washed. The garment should be washed in cold water and air/line-dried. Washing your garment in hot water or drying with an electric or gas dryer may ruin the garment. To remove any stains, the garment can be soaked in 2 or 3 gallons of cool water with 1/4 cup of peroxide added. After the garment has soaked, it can be hand washed and air/line-dried.
Important Healthy Tip: Due to long, continuous periods of time that you may need to wear the garment, it is recommended to purchase 2 garments. Having two garments will enable you to always have a freshly clean garment, while the soiled one is being washed.
