Reduce the appearance of scars with help from Scarfade Gel. This is topical silicone gel which is applied like a cream. It dries quickly and leaves no sticky residue. Can be worn under cosmetics to help conceal the scar during treatment. Scarfade is easily tolerated by children and can be worn 24 hours a day. It washes off with soap and water and can be reapplied as soon as the skin is dry.
Wash the affected area and pat dry. Gently massage a small amount of Scar Gel into the scar and gently wipe away the excess with a tissue until the area is dry and no longer tacky. Use twice daily in the morning and night. May be covered with cosmetic blush or camouflage. Use for 8-16 weeks or until no further improvement is noticed. Use carefully around the eye area. For facelift and eyelid incision care - Apply Scarfade with a Q-tip.
CAUTION: Avoid using near the eyes or mucus membranes. Not for use on open wounds or unhealed skin. If redness or irritation occurs, discontinue use and consult your physician. Keep this product out of reach of children.
