Stage Two Garment: A Stage Two garment that goes with this Stage One garment is available and can be found at: Female High Back Above Knee Girdle (w/ Cotton Bra) - Stage Two. The Stage Two garment has additional compression panels, is designed for skin retracting and body shaping, and is made to be particularly comfortable for long-term wear. Doctors may recommend that patients wear compression garments during both Stage One (initial 1-2 weeks of post-op) and Stage Two (2-8 weeks post-op) of recovery. For this reason, a Stage Two garment may be recommended. By having both the Stage One and Stage Two garments, the patient has the advantage of having continuous compression, which is essential for obtaining the best results during the recovery phase and for having the greatest degree of comfort.

Instructions For Use: If the zipper becomes snagged, please do not attempt to force the zipper in any direction. If the zipper does become snagged, please take the garment off (to reduce any tension on the zipper) and gently work the zipper until it moves freely again. Assume a seated position in a chair or on a bed and unzip all zippers completely (if the garment has two zippers on the sides, please un-zip both zippers). While seated, step your legs into the garment and slide it up to your knees and/or thighs. While remaining seated, you should now be able to gently position the garment into place on your upper body. Standing up very slowly and using the chair or bed to provide support, pull the garment fully into place, making sure the crotch opening is correctly positioned. If you do not feel comfortable standing up, please lie on your back to apply the garment. If the garment has shoulder straps, they can be positioned and fastened at this point. Please fasten the hook and eye closures on one side of the garment and then slowly pull the zipper closed. When one side of the garment has been zipped closed, you can now secure the hook and eye closures on the other side. Please note that this side will be more difficult to close. If you have someone assisting you, please ask them to help you with this second side. The hook and eye closures should be fastened and the zipper should be slowly pulled closed.
The garment is typically worn immediately after the surgery and continuously for several days (or longer depending on the doctor's instructions). During the initial period of post-op, your doctor may instruct you to wear this garment constantly (even while sleeping) and only remove it when you need to go to the bathroom or to shower. As your healing progresses, you should be able to remove the garment for various activities. Generally, the amount of time you will need to wear your garment will be reduced as your move forward in your healing journey. The garment is worn like long underwear underneath your clothing. It is recommended to wear loose-fitting clothing over the garment.
Measuring Myself Correctly & Getting The Right Size: Knowing how to measure yourself correctly and getting the right size for your garment is the most crucial step of selecting a garment. For this reason, please view the Size Chart (and read the measuring tips) associated with this garment.
Garment Care: Your garment can be hand washed. The garment should be washed in cold water and air/line-dried. Washing your garment in hot water or drying with an electric or gas dryer may ruin the garment. To remove any stains, the garment can be soaked in 2 or 3 gallons of cool water with 1/4 cup of peroxide added. After the garment has soaked, it can be hand washed and air/line-dried.
Important Healthy Tip: Due to long, continuous periods of time that you may need to wear the garment, it is recommended to purchase 2 garments. Having two garments will enable you to always have a freshly clean garment, while the soiled one is being washed.
