Product Description & Benefits: Made with a hassle free front zipper, adjustable back hook & eye closure, wide under breast support band, inner cup support system, seamless contouring cotton knit cups and wide comfortable shoulder straps, the Yesmina Medical/Sports Bra (w/ Front Zipper) - Stage One helps improve blood circulation, minimizes swelling after the procedure, keeps the implants in their correct position, flushes your body out of potentially harmful fluids, accelerates the healing process, and allows the patient to return to daily routines sooner. This medical/sports bra also provides support to surgical areas for more comfort and helps the skin fit better to its new contours. Further, this garment can also help prevent a patient from experiencing some "throbbing" sensations after surgery. The bra may also help reduce the tension on newly formed scars and prevent them from stretching.
This lightweight support bra has a hassle free front zipper, adjustable back hook & eye closure, wide under breast support band, inner cup support system, seamless contouring cotton knit cups and wide comfortable shoulder straps. Made from soft, breathable cotton with a latex-free construction, this bra has no seams at the surgical areas for extra comfort and to help avoid irritation of the incisions and areolas. For maximum comfort, this bra has no wiring in the cups. Before surgery, measure around the body directly under the breast. This will determine the patient's bra size.

Stage Two Garment: A Stage Two breast support bra that goes with this Stage One garment is available and can be found at: Yesmina Adjustable Cotton Medical/Sports Bra - Stage Two. The Stage Two garment is made to be particularly comfortable for long-term wear after the Stage One garment (that is normally applied immediately post-operatively) is no longer needed. Doctors may recommend that patients wear compression garments during both Stage One (initial 1-2 weeks of post-op) and Stage Two (2-8 weeks post-op) of recovery. For this reason, a Stage Two garment may be recommended. By having both the Stage One and Stage Two garments, the patient has the advantage of having continuous compression, which is beneficial for obtaining the best results during the recovery phase and for having the greatest degree of comfort.
Breast Surgery Recovery Kit Special: The Yesmina Adjustable Cotton Plastic Surgery Medical/Sports Bra - Stage One (w/Zipper) is part of a great recovery kit that includes the Yesmina Adjustable Cotton Plastic Surgery Medical/Sports Bra - Stage One (w/Zipper) and the Yesmina Adjustable Cotton Plastic Surgery Medical/Sports Bra - Stage Two. By having this Recovery Kit, the patient has the advantage of having continuous compression, which is beneficial for obtaining the best results during the recovery phase and having the greatest degree of comfort. This Kit is available and can be found at: Breast Surgery Recovery Kit.
Instructions For Use: The hook & eye closures found on the back of the bra should be fastened on the middle row of the hook & eye closures, the front hook & eye closures should be separated. Slide your arms through the opening between the shoulder strap and bra. You should now be able to close the front hook & eye adjustments, starting at the bottom closure and working up. If the bra is too tight or loose, take the bra off by separating the front hook & eye closures. You can loosen or tighten the bra by adjusting the back hook & eye closures. Please repeat the above steps to put the bra back on.
The bra is typically worn immediately after the surgery for a period of time that may range from days to weeks, depending on the doctor's instructions. During the initial period of post-op, your doctor may instruct you to wear this bra constantly (even while sleeping) and only remove it when you need to shower. As your healing progresses, you should be able to remove the bra for various activities. The garment is worn like a bra would underneath your clothing. It is recommended to wear loose-fitting clothing over the garment.
Measuring Myself Correctly & Getting The Right Size: Knowing how to measure yourself correctly and getting the right size for your garment is the most crucial step of selecting a garment. For this reason, please view the Size Chart (and read the measuring tips) associated with this garment.
Garment Care: Your garment can be hand washed. The garment should be washed in cold water and air/line-dried. Washing your garment in hot water or drying with an electric or gas dryer may ruin the garment. To remove any stains, the garment can be soaked in 2 or 3 gallons of cool water with 1/4 cup of peroxide added. After the garment has soaked, it can be hand washed and air/line-dried.
Important Healthy Tip: Due to long, continuous periods of time that you may need to wear the garment, it is recommended to purchase 2 garments. Having two garments will enable you to always have a freshly clean garment, while the soiled one is being washed.
Applicable Procedures: Breast Augmentation (Breast Implants, Transaxillary Submuscular Breast Augmentation, Trans Umbilical Breast Augmentation), Breast Lift (Mastopexy), Breast Reduction, Breast Reconstruction, Latisimus Dorsi procedure, Mastectomy, TRAM Flap Procedure.
