Product Description & Benefits:
The Female Low-Waisted Body Plastic Surgery Compression Girdle - Medium-Length Legs - Stage One Garment is worn immediately following surgery for the first 1-2 weeks of post-op before the Stage Two garment becomes necessary. The Stage One garment is made to be less tight and bigger than the Stage Two due to your having more swelling during the initial recovery. This garment improves blood circulation, minimizes swelling after the procedure, flushes the body out of potentially harmful fluids, accelerates the healing process, keeps the implants in their correct position, and allows the patient to return to daily routines sooner. This compression garment also provides support to surgical areas for more comfort and helps the skin fit better to its new contours. Further, this garment can also help prevent a patient from experiencing some "throbbing" sensations after surgery. The garment may also help reduce the tension on newly formed scars and prevent them from stretching. The Female Low-Waisted Body Plastic Surgery Compression Girdle - Medium-Length Legs- Stage One is appropriate for liposuction, abdominal and lower body procedures, as well as for body procedures following gastric bypass or bariatric surgery.
This garment features a 100% latex-free fabric that offers enhanced support and more durable compression performance. The garment's silky and soft fabric is stretchable to make it easier to slip on and off, yet fiercely strong and durable. The fabric is remarkably lightweight and breathable to keep you clean, dry and fresh all day long. The fabric provides the compression control you need to optimize circulation and enhance healing, while giving you the "feel good" comfort that patients demand. This garment has zippers.
Stage Two Garment: A Stage Two garment that goes with this Stage One garment is available and can be found at: Female Low-Waisted Body Compression Girdle - Medium-Length Legs- Stage Two . The Stage Two garment has additional compression panels, is designed for skin retracting and body shaping, and is made to be particularly comfortable for long-term wear. Doctors may recommend that patients wear compression garments during both Stage One (initial 1-2 weeks of post-op) and Stage Two (2-8 weeks post-op) of recovery. For this reason, a Stage Two garment may be recommended. By having both the Stage One and Stage Two garments, the patient has the advantage of having continuous compression, which is essential for obtaining the best results during the recovery phase and for having the greatest degree of comfort.
Alternate View(s):

Instructions For Use: The garment is typically worn during the second stage (2-8 weeks or longer, depending on the doctor's instructions) of post-surgery recovery. The second stage garment is worn once your first stage garment (first 1-2 weeks of post-op) is no longer appropriate. Generally, the amount of time you will need to wear your garment will be reduced as your move forward in your healing journey. The compression garment is worn like long underwear underneath your clothing. It is recommended to wear loose-fitting clothing over the garment.
Measuring Myself Correctly & Getting The Right Size: Knowing how to measure yourself correctly and getting the right size for your garment is the most crucial step of selecting a garment. For this reason, please view the Size Chart (and read the measuring tips) associated with this garment. Second stage garments are sized smaller, are more fashionable, and have a less bulky appearance than first stage garments.
Garment Care: You may machine wash the garment in cold water only (with like colors), as washing in hot water can ruin the garment. You may also wash the garment by hand in cold water. For drying, tumble dry, low heat or allow the garment to be line-dried.
