  • Based on the award‐winning S9™ platform, the VPAP S includes optional wireless monitoring, central sleep apnea (CSA) detection and optional integrated oximetry. 
  • It also features a Sleep Quality Indicator,which allows patients to view their therapy progress on a daily basis. 
  • Together with ResMed’s Enhanced Easy‐Breathe technology and Climate Control humidification system, the VPAP S delivers quiet comfort to a wide range of patients, from noncompliant CPAP users to those requiring additional ventilatory support.

 

How does Bileval Therapy Work?

Bilevel therapy works by delivering two different levels of positive air pressure:

• A higher level of pressure when you breathe in
• A lower level of pressure when you breathe out

Although both are non-invasive, Bilevel and CPAP therapy differ in two significant ways:

1. Bilevel devices deliver two levels of air pressure that are set to coincide with the patient's inspiratory and expiratory efforts

2. Bilevel therapy can be used to treat conditions other than sleep apnea (OSA) and is the first line of treatment for a wide-range of respiratory disorders
