Product Description & Benefits: The High Back Torso Brief Plastic Surgery Compression Garment with Bra - Stages One & Two Recovery Kit (w/free Thong) is a powerful way to maximize your healing benefits by having compression during both Stage One (initial 1-2 weeks of post-op) and Stage Two (2-8 weeks post-op) of recovery. The Kit includes the High Back Torso Brief with Bra (with Zipper) - Stage One and the High Back Torso Brief with Bra - Stage Two , and a Thong Support Garment (provided as a bonus free product that normally sells for $12 outside the Kit). The garment is ideal for a patient having multiple procedures and provides additional compression and support in the abdomen, flank, back, and breast area and is appropriate for a liposuction, tummy tuck, breast augmentation, breast lift, and breast reduction. With this Recovery Kit, you have the advantage of having continuous compression, which is essential for obtaining the best results during the recovery phase and for having the greatest degree of comfort. The garments provided in the kit improve blood circulation, minimize swelling after the procedure, flush the body out of potentially harmful fluids, accelerate the healing process, and allow the patient to return to daily routines sooner. These compression garments also provide support to surgical areas for more comfort and help the skin fit better to it new contours.
The following are the descriptions for each product in the Kit:
High Back Torso Brief with Bra (with Zipper) - Stage One: Made from soft breathable cotton with wide shoulders straps, built-in seamless cotton knit bra, abdominal inner panel for targeted abdominal compression, front zipper with cotton guard tape for easy application, and cotton-lined crotch with adjustable hook and eye closure, the High Back Torso Brief w/Bra (w/Zipper) - Stage One is worn immediately following surgery for the first 1-2 weeks of post-op before the Stage Two garment becomes necessary. The Stage One garment is made to be less tight and bigger than the Stage Two due to your having more swelling during the initial recovery. The garment is ideal for a patient having multiple procedures and provides compression in the abdomen, flank, back, and breast area and is appropriate for a liposuction, tummy tuck, breast augmentation, breast lift, and breast reduction.
High Back Torso Brief with Bra - Stage Two: Made from soft breathable cotton with wide shoulders straps, built-in seamless cotton knit bra, strategically positioned panels for extra compression, and cotton-lined crotch with adjustable hook and eye closure, this Stage Two High Back Torso Brief with Bra is worn during 2-8 weeks post-op once the Stage One garment is no longer appropriate. This Stage Two garment is sized smaller, tighter and offers more compression than the Stage One garment due to the fact that you have less swelling at this later stage of post-op. The garment is ideal for a patient having multiple procedures and provides additional compression and support in the abdomen, flank, back, and breast area and is appropriate for a liposuction, tummy tuck, breast augmentation, breast lift, and breast reduction.
Thong Support Garment: The Thong Support Garment is provided as a bonus free product that normally sells for $12 outside the Kit. This garment helps minimize swelling that can descend downward to one's private region.
Instructions For Use: Assume a seated position in a chair or on a bed with the garment next to you. While seated, step your legs into the garment and slide it up to your knees and/or thighs. While remaining seated, you should now be able to gently position the garment into place on your upper body. Standing up very slowly and using the chair or bed to provide support, pull the garment fully into place, making sure the crotch opening is correctly positioned. If you do not feel comfortable standing up, please lie on your back to apply the garment. If you have someone to assist you, they can help with the positioning of the garment. Once the garment is positioned, the shoulder straps should be fastened and adjusted.
Measuring Myself Correctly & Getting The Right Size: Knowing how to measure yourself correctly and getting the right size for your garment is the most crucial step of selecting a garment. For this reason, please view the Size Chart (and read the measuring tips) associated with this garment.
Garment Care: You may machine wash the garment in cold water only (with like colors), as washing in hot water can ruin the garment. You may also wash the garment by hand in cold water. To remove any stains, the garment can be soaked in 2 or 3 gallons of cool water with 1/4 cup of peroxide added. After the garment has soaked, it can be hand washed and air/line-dried. Garment should not be dried with an electric or gas dryer, as this may ruin the garment.
Important Healthy Tip: Due to long, continuous periods of time that you may need to wear the garment, it is recommended to purchase 2 garments. Having two garments will enable you to always have a freshly clean garment, while the soiled one is being washed.
