The binder may be worn with body garments for additional compression. This 100% latex-free garment is made of a strong, breathable and lightweight compression fabric that feels good next to the skin. Instructions For Use: The garment is typically worn immediately after the surgery for a period of time that may range from days to weeks, depending on the doctor's instructions. During the initial period of post-op, your doctor may instruct you to wear this garment constantly (even while sleeping) and only remove it when you need to shower. As your healing progresses, you should be able to remove the garment for various activities. It is recommended to wear loose-fitting clothing over the garment.

Garment Care: You may machine wash the garment in cold water only (with like colors), as washing in hot water can ruin the garment. You may also wash the garment by hand in cold water. For drying, tumble dry, low heat or allow the garment to be air/line-dried.

Important Healthy Tip: Due to long, continuous periods of time that you may need to wear the garment, it is recommended to purchase 2 garments. Having two sets of garments will enable you to always have a freshly clean garment, while the soiled one is being washed.
