The Chin Strap Compression Garment is our most popular facial style due to its simplistic design easily adjustable for better comfort. This garment has Velcro adjusters in the back of the neck and on the top of the head for extra support. The Chin Strap improves blood circulation, compresses the bleeding vessels, stops the loss of blood, minimizes swelling after the procedure, accelerates the healing process, and allows the patient to return to daily routines sooner. Used following a facial procedure, this compression garment also provides support to surgical areas for more comfort and helps the skin fit better to it new contours.
This garment features a 100% latex-free fabric that offers enhanced support and more durable compression performance. The garment’s silky and soft fabric is stretchable to make it easier to slip on and off, yet fiercely strong and durable. The fabric is remarkably lightweight and breathable to keep you clean, dry and fresh all day long. Moreover, the garment is made of pattern designs that target maximum support and compression. The fabric provides the compression control you need to optimize circulation and enhance healing, while giving you the “feel good” comfort that patients demand.
Instructions For Use: The garment is typically worn immediately after the surgery and continuously for several days (or longer depending on the doctor’s instructions). During the initial period of post-op, your doctor may instruct you to wear this garment constantly (even while sleeping) and only remove it when you need to shower. As your healing progresses, you should be able to remove the garment for various activities. Generally, the amount of time you will need to wear your garment will be reduced as your move forward in your healing journey.
Measuring Myself Correctly & Getting The Right Size: Knowing how to measure yourself correctly and getting the right size for your garment is the most crucial step of selecting a garment. For this reason, please view the Size Chart (and read the measuring tips) associated with this garment.
Garment Care: You may machine wash the garment in cold water only (with like colors), as washing in hot water can ruin the garment. You may also wash the garment by hand in cold water. For drying, tumble dry, low heat or allow the garment to be air/line-dried.
Important Healthy Tip: Due to heavy drainage and long, continuous periods of time that you may need to wear the garment, it is recommended to purchase 2 garments. Having two sets of garments will enable you to always have a freshly clean garment, while the soiled one is being washed.
