Marena Recovery Ladies' Girdles - 2nd Stage Compression Girdle with Medium Legs - Stage 2 - LGM2, a second stage garment for the latter period of the recovery process, is a "pull-on" style made of F7-certified fabric and features a mid-calf leg length coverage.
Offers the same coverage found in the LGM, but does not come with the zippers which makes an excellent choice for a lower-abdominal procedure, liposuction procedures of the legs, as well as calf implants.
This high waist garment has an elastic waistband with leg coverage to the mid-calf and clean cut finish, is zipperless, and has an open crotch.
Available in fashionable beige, black colors.
This garment provides additional compression and support during the second stage (2-8 weeks post-op) of recovery. Worn once your first stage garment (worn during initial 1-2 weeks of post-op) is no longer appropriate, this second stage garment also helps improve blood circulation, minimizes any swelling that remains, accelerates the healing process, and allows the patient to return to daily routines sooner.
This compression garment also provides support to surgical areas for more comfort and helps the skin fit better to it new contours.
This second stage garment is sized smaller, is more fashionable, and has a less bulky appearance than a first stage garment.
This garment is appropriate for Liposuction (Lower Abdomen, Flank, Hip, Thigh, Knee, Calf), Lower Body Procedures, Lower Body Lift, Thigh Lift (Thighplasty), Plastic surgery procedures following Gastric Bypass Surgery, Bariatric Surgery, and Stomach Stapling, Tummy Tuck (Abdominoplasty).
This garment features a 100% latex-free fabric that offers enhanced support and more durable compression performance as well as an open crotch. The garment's silky and soft fabric is stretchable to make it easier to slip on and off, yet fiercely strong and durable. The fabric is remarkably lightweight and breathable to keep you clean, dry and fresh all day long. The fabric provides the compression control you need to optimize circulation and enhance healing, while giving you the "feel good" comfort that patients demand.
Stage One Garment: A first stage garment that goes with this second stage garment is available and can be found at: Women's Lower Body - Stage One - Medium-Length Legs - Stage One . Doctors may recommend that patients wear compression garments during both the First Stage (initial 1-2 weeks of post-op) and Second Stage (2-8 weeks post-op) of recovery. For this reason, a first stage garment may be recommended.
Instructions For Use: The garment is typically worn during the second stage (2-8 weeks or longer, depending on the doctor's instructions) of post-surgery recovery. The second stage garment is worn once your first stage garment (first 1-2 weeks of post-op) is no longer appropriate. Generally, the amount of time you will need to wear your garment will be reduced as your move forward in your healing journey. The compression garment is worn like long underwear underneath your clothing. It is recommended to wear loose-fitting clothing over the garment.
Measuring Myself Correctly & Getting The Right Size: Knowing how to measure yourself correctly and getting the right size for your garment is the most crucial step of selecting a garment. For this reason, please view the Size Chart (and read the measuring tips) associated with this garment. Second stage garments are sized smaller, are more fashionable, and have a less bulky appearance than first stage garments.
Garment Care: You may machine wash the garment in cold water only (with like colors), as washing in hot water can ruin the garment. You may also wash the garment by hand in cold water. For drying, tumble dry, low heat or allow the garment to be line-dried.
