Product Description & Benefits:
The Breast Augmentation Sports Bra (W/Zippers) is one of our most popular bras. This medical/sports bra features a front zipper closure with a protective lining for added comfort, an inner cup lining support and a racer back design. This bra can be used as a support bra following a breast procedure or as a sports bra to make your exercise experience comfortable. This Stage One bra helps improve blood circulation, minimizes swelling after the procedure, keeps the implants in their correct position, flushes your body out of potentially harmful fluids, accelerates the healing process, and allows the patient to return to daily routines sooner. This sports bra also provides support to surgical areas for more comfort and helps the skin fit better to its new contours. Further, this garment can also help prevent a patient from experiencing some "throbbing" sensations after surgery and help reduce the tension on newly formed scars to prevent them from stretching.
This garment features a 100% latex-free fabric that offers enhanced support and more durable compression performance. The garment's silky and soft fabric is stretchable to make it easier to slip on and off, yet fiercely strong and durable. The fabric is remarkably lightweight and breathable to keep you clean, dry and fresh all day long. The fabric provides the compression control you need to optimize circulation and enhance healing, while giving you the "feel good" comfort that patients demand.
Instructions For Use: Slide your arms through the opening between the shoulder strap and bra. You should now be able to close the front zipper.
The bra is typically worn immediately after the surgery for a period of time that may range from days to weeks, depending on the doctor's instructions. During the initial period of post-op, your doctor may instruct you to wear this bra constantly (even while sleeping) and only remove it when you need to shower. As your healing progresses, you should be able to remove the bra for various activities. The garment is worn like a bra would underneath your clothing. It is recommended to wear loose-fitting clothing over the garment.
Measuring Myself Correctly & Getting The Right Size: Knowing how to measure yourself correctly and getting the right size for your garment is the most crucial step of selecting a garment. For this reason, please view the Size Chart (and read the measuring tips) associated with this garment.
Garment Care: Your garment can be hand washed. The garment should be washed in cold water and air/line-dried. Washing your garment in hot water or drying with an electric or gas dryer may ruin the garment. To remove any stains, the garment can be soaked in 2 or 3 gallons of cool water with 1/4 cup of peroxide added. After the garment has soaked, it can be hand washed and air/line-dried.
Important Healthy Tip: Due to long, continuous periods of time that you may need to wear the garment, it is recommended to purchase 2 garments. Having two garments will enable you to always have a freshly clean garment, while the soiled one is being washed.
Applicable Procedures: Sportswear Bra, support for exercising, breast augmentation, breast reduction.
