Product Description & Benefits:
The Nearly Me Cotton Front-Closure Leisure Bra is perfect for wearing after surgery, relaxing around the house, or sleeping. This soft, comfortable, stretch-cotton bra gives breathable support for after breast surgery. Front closure is great for limited range of motion and this style offers full coverage over the breast, under the arm and across the back. Cups have soft cotton pockets to secure foam or fiberfill breast forms. Sizing for this bra is based on the band size rather than standard bra sizes. The extra-stretchy cotton cups accommodate A through D cups in each size. This bra also works well with the NEARLY ME CASUAL® Forms. Each bra cup has a pocket to hold and keep the breast form (breast prosthesis) comfortably in place. This bra is appropriate for all types of mastectomy/breast cancer surgery (radical, simple, partial, bilateral), lumpectomy, breast reconstruction, and breast conserving procedures.

Instructions For Use:
Inserting Breast Forms into a Mastectomy Bra:
-
The bra is put on like a regular bra. The breast form must be inserted into the bra before the bra is worn.
-
Spread the bra out on a flat surface with the inside of the bra facing you.
-
Hold the form by the edges with a flat hand so that the nipple is facing down.
-
Spread the elastic on the cup and slide the form in so that the nipple faces outward.
-
Adjust the form so it settles into the bottom of the cup.
-
Hold the bra up with the form inside the pocket to make sure it looks correct.
-
Be careful not to puncture the form or fold it. NEARLY ME® silicone forms are very durable, but the polyurethane skin can be punctured, and repeated abuse can alter the shape over time.
Removing Forms From a Mastectomy Bra
-
Carefully slide your hand all the way into the pocket in front of the form.
-
Stretch the pocket edge and pull the form out without folding the form.
-
Try not to grab the side of the form with your thumb and forefinger to pull it out. The forms are durable, but can be punctured.
Measuring Myself Correctly & Getting The Right Size: Knowing how to measure yourself correctly and getting the right bra size is the most crucial step of selecting the proper bra. A breast form (prosthesis) is only as effective as the bra that supports and carries it. Wearing the right bra size will also help avoid causing excessive pressure and potential damage to the breast form. For this reason, please view the Size Chart, Fitting & Measuring Tips (and read the fitting and measuring tips) associated with this product so you can choose the right bra size.

Garment Care:It is recommended to hand wash the garment in warm water with mild soap or with specialized garment washing/cleansing solutions such as TruKleen Washing Solution. Fabric softeners are not recommended. For best results, the bra should be hung until it is completely dry. Taking care of your bra will prolong the elasticity of the fabrics, extend the lifetime of the bra, and provide longer lasting comfort, security and an overall natural look and feel.
Important Healthy Tip: Due to long, continuous periods of time that you may need to wear the garment, it is recommended to purchase 2 bras. Having two bras will enable you to always have a freshly clean bra, while the soiled one is being washed.
