Product Description & Benefits:
This 9” Abdominal Binder (Unisex) provides compression in the upper and lower abdomen and is typically used following an abdominal procedure such as liposuction, tummy tuck or hernia surgery. This triple-panel abdominal binder is 9 inches wide and offers a Velcro closure for more comfort. This garment improves blood circulation, minimizes swelling after the procedure, flushes the body out of potentially harmful fluids, accelerates the healing process, and allows the patient to return to daily routines sooner. This compression garment also provides support to surgical areas for more comfort and helps the skin fit better to it new contours.
This garment features a 100% latex-free fabric that offers enhanced support and more durable compression performance. The garment’s silky and soft fabric is stretchable to make it easier to slip on and off, yet fiercely strong and durable. The fabric is remarkably lightweight and breathable to keep you clean, dry and fresh all day long. The fabric provides the compression control you need to optimize circulation and enhance healing, while giving you the “feel good” comfort that patients demand.
The 9” Abdominal Binder has elastic and Velcro combined to form optimum abdominal compression. The binder may be worn with body garments for additional compression. This garment is made of a strong, breathable and lightweight compression fabric that feels good next to the skin. Moreover, the garment is made with hinge-action panels that resist rolling.

Instructions For Use: The garment is typically worn immediately after the surgery and continuously for several days (or longer depending on the doctor’s instructions). During the initial period of post-op, your doctor may instruct you to wear this garment constantly (even while sleeping) and only remove it when you need to go to the bathroom or to shower. As your healing progresses, you should be able to remove the garment for various activities. Generally, the amount of time you will need to wear your garment will be reduced as your move forward in your healing journey. The garment is worn like long underwear underneath your clothing. It is recommended to wear loose-fitting clothing over the garment.
Measuring Myself Correctly & Getting The Right Size: Knowing how to measure yourself correctly and getting the right size for your garment is the most crucial step of selecting a garment. For this reason, please view the Size Chart (and read the measuring tips) associated with this garment.
Garment Care: Your garment can be hand washed. The garment should be washed in cold water and air/line-dried. Washing your garment in hot water or drying with an electric or gas dryer may ruin the garment. To remove any stains, the garment can be soaked in 2 or 3 gallons of cool water with 1/4 cup of peroxide added. After the garment has soaked, it can be hand washed and air/line-dried.
Important Healthy Tip: Due to long, continuous periods of time that you may need to wear the garment, it is recommended to purchase 2 garments. Having two garments will enable you to always have a freshly clean garment, while the soiled one is being washed.
Applicable Procedures: Liposuction (Abdomen, Flank, Hip), Tummy Tuck (Abdominoplasty), Hernia Surgery, Back Support.
