How Can Men’s Compression Garments Benefit My Healing Journey?
In the Men’s Compression Garments department of the Store, you can try out a wide array of well-fitting, high-quality, and comfortable garments for liposuction on every part of the body (upper body, chest, abdomen, flanks, and back). Specifically designed for a man, the compression garments featured in the Store are made by innovative companies that specialize in compression wear for plastic surgery. As you stroll through this area of the Store, you will notice that the garments are organized into primary categories, including Men's Upper Body Garments, Men's Abdominal garments, Men's Full Body Garments, Men's Mid Body Garments, Men's Private Area Support Garments. The compression garment you choose will depend on the area(s) of the body where you are having liposuction. Finally, the Store also features a wide array of Male Compression Garment Recovery Kits that provide a powerful way to maximize your healing benefits by having continuous compression during both Stage One (initial 1-2 weeks of post-op) and Stage Two (2-8 weeks post-op) of recovery. Each Kit contains a Stage One compression garment and matching Stage Two compression garment that together are designed to help you obtain the best results during the recovery phase and to have the greatest degree of comfort. Additionally, some compression garment kits include a Scrotum Support Garment that helps minimize swelling that can descend downward to one’s private region due to gravity.
Following liposuction, your doctor will ask you to wear a compression garment. Wearing a compression garment after liposuction is essential to improve blood circulation, minimize swelling after the procedure, flush the body out of potentially harmful fluids, accelerate the healing process, and allow the patient to return to daily routines sooner. A compression garment also provides support to surgical areas for more comfort and helps the skin fit better to its new contours. Depending on your doctor, you may need to wear compression garments during both the First Stage (initial 1-2 weeks of post-op) and Second Stage (2-8 weeks post-op) of recovery. For this reason, you may need to get both a First Stage garment and a Second Stage garment. Our store features a wide variety of First and Second Stage garments. Each of the Male Compression Garment Recovery Kits offered at the Store include both a Stage One and matching Stage Two garment. Compression garments are worn like long underwear underneath your clothing. Read more about First & Second Stage Garments.
