Product Description & Benefits: The Female Torso Brief Compression Garment - Stage Two Garment provides additional compression and support during Stage Two (2-8 weeks post-op) of recovery. Worn once your Stage One garment (worn during initial 1-2 weeks of post-op) is no longer appropriate, this Stage Two garment also helps improve blood circulation, minimizes any swelling that remains, accelerates the healing process, and allows the patient to return to daily routines sooner. This compression garment also provides support to surgical areas for more comfort and helps the skin fit better to it new contours. In addition to being designed for skin retracting and body shaping, this garment is made to be particularly comfortable for long-term wear. This garment is appropriate for liposuction and tummy tuck.

This 100% latex and formaldehyde free garment is made of a strong, lightweight powernet fabric and lycra. The garment has adjustable shoulder straps, compression panels in the abdominal area that provide targeted compression, and a hook and eye crotch closure. The garment also has a reinforced open crotch, reinforced flat seams, and gripper lace to prevent roll up.

Alternate Views:

Stage One Garment: A Stage One garment that goes with this Stage Two garment is available and can be found at: Female Torso Brief (W/Zipper)- Stage One. Doctors may recommend that patients wear compression garments during both Stage One (initial 1-2 weeks of post-op) and Stage Two (2-8 weeks post-op) of recovery. For this reason, a Stage Two garment may be recommended. By having both the Stage One and Stage Two garments, the patient has the advantage of having continuous compression, which is essential for obtaining the best results during the recovery phase and for having the greatest degree of comfort.

Female Torso Brief Kit Special (w/bonus free product & $12 in savings): The Female Torso Brief (w/Zipper) – Stage One is part of a great recovery kit that includes the Female Torso Brief (w/Zipper) – Stage One, Female Torso Brief – Stage Two, and a Thong Support Garment (provided as a bonus free product that normally sells for $12 outside the Kit) that helps minimize swelling that can descend downward to one’s private region. By having this Recovery Kit, the patient has the advantage of having continuous compression, which is essential for obtaining the best results during the recovery phase and having the greatest degree of comfort. This Kit is available and can be found at: Female Torso Brief Kit.

Instructions For Use: Assume a seated position in a chair or on a bed with the garment next to you. While seated, step your legs into the garment and slide it up to your knees and/or thighs. While remaining seated, you should now be able to gently position the garment into place on your upper body. Standing up very slowly and using the chair or bed to provide support, pull the garment fully into place, making sure the crotch opening is correctly positioned. If you do not feel comfortable standing up, please lie on your back to apply the garment. If you have someone to assist you, they can help with the positioning of the garment. Once the garment is positioned, the shoulder straps should be fastened and adjusted.

The garment is typically worn during Stage Two (2-8 weeks or longer, depending on the doctor’s instructions) of post-surgery recovery. The Stage Two garment is worn once your Stage One garment (first 1-2 weeks of post-op) is no longer appropriate. Generally, the amount of time you will need to wear your garment will be reduced as your move forward in your healing journey. The compression garment is worn like long underwear underneath your clothing. It is recommended to wear loose-fitting clothing over the garment.

Measuring Myself Correctly & Getting The Right Size: Knowing how to measure yourself correctly and getting the right size for your garment is the most crucial step of selecting a garment. For this reason, please view the Size Chart (and read the measuring tips) associated with this garment.

Garment Care: Your garment can be hand washed. The garment should be washed in cold water and air/line-dried. Washing your garment in hot water or drying with an electric or gas dryer may ruin the garment. To remove any stains, the garment can be soaked in 2 or 3 gallons of cool water with 1/4 cup of peroxide added. After the garment has soaked, it can be hand washed and air/line-dried.

Important Healthy Tip: Due to long, continuous periods of time that you may need to wear the garment, it is recommended to purchase 2 garments. Having two garments will enable you to always have a freshly clean garment, while the soiled one is being washed.

Applicable Procedures: Liposuction (Abdomen), Tram Flap procedures, Tummy Tuck (Abdominoplasty).
