What do all the women in Alexander Rodriguez’s life have in common? While some might wonder if this is another A-Rod joke, the punchline is true: they all had plastic surgery. While everyone is focusing on A-Rod’s extramarital relationships, few may have noticed an interesting fact that has been overlooked with all of them — they all had gone under the knife.
Let’s have a look first at his wife. Cynthia Rodriguez, or C-Rod as she is more popularly known these days is divorcing her husband, baseball player Alexander Rodriguez (A-Rod) for his extramarital affairs. A-Rod has also had widely reported relationship with Madonna, although it said to be non-sexual. So what do C-Rod and Madonna have in common, despite their significant age difference? Hard bodies and plastic surgery.
C-Rod is a 34-year old mother of two. She also has a bodybuilder’s body, with strong muscles. It is no wonder that she met her soon to be ex-husband in a gym, where they were both working out. In a photo shoot for a magazine, Cynthia showed off her rock hard body, completely with what look like very obvious breast implants.
When women build up large amounts of muscle, the fatty tissue in their breasts nearly all but disappears, so many women opt to get a breast augmentation to help give their appearance more femininity. This seems to be what C-Rod decided to do as well. Her breasts look stuck on and are very far apart from each other. Although her arms are raised, they are still very high on her chest. They have all the aesthetics of breast implants.
Plastic surgeon John Di Saia says, “I figure she’s likely had breast implants.”
In the future, C-Rod will likely have more plastic surgery to maintain her appearance, like her rumored rival, Madonna.
At 49-years old, Madonna is still the world’s reigning pop princess. While Madonna may have denied having plastic surgery in the past, she’s starting to come closer to admitting to it.
Madonna recently made a list of the world’s most powerful celebrities with plastic surgery, although she usually says her good looks are due to a healthy lifestyle. Although in the past the Material Girl has denied plastic surgery rumors, reporting things like, “Madonna’s spokeswoman denies the star has received any plastic surgery treatment” and “Madonna’s breasts are the ones that God has blessed her with.” Now it seems that the mother of all mothers is coming closer to admitting what we have long suspected, telling an interviewer, “I’m not against plastic surgery, I’m just against discussing it.”
Rather than admitting to anything as commonplace as a few Botox injections, Madonna instead says, “I swear by oxygen facials.” And, “I’m obsessive about staying out of the sun.” London-based plastic surgery consultant Adrian Richards remarked on Madonna’s age defying look, saying “On a woman of 46 you would expect to see jowls, lines across the forehead, and eyebrows which are beginning to droop.” At 49, she still isn’t showing any signs of wear and tear, so she must be doing a little something more than oxygen facials, which are considered by many physicians to be little more than snake oil.
In addition to Botox, Madonna has most likely had a mini facelift and other facial cosmetic procedures, like Thermage, Fraxel or another laser facial to help maintain her taut, wrinkle-free skin.
When Madonna’s bust-line mysteriously blossomed a few years ago, Plastic surgeon Anthony Youn stated, “She looks to have gone from a B to a C and may have had a recent augmentation.”
These rumors follow reports of a rhinoplasty Madonna had in the early days of her career to help slim her nose.
Although Madonna talks a lot about passing her pop kingdom down to the next generation of pop stars, via her notorious open mouth kiss with Britney Spears (See Make Me Heal’s story on Britney Spears’ Plastic Surgery), it seems she’s not quite ready to do so as she continues to try to make herself appear as young as the rising stars.
Make Me Heal looks forward to Madonna’s upcoming world tour and hopes that she eventually bows out gracefully, before she starts looking foolish in all those form-fitting, too-youthful, suggestive costumes she wears onstage.
A-rod’s penchant for muscle-bound women with breast implants can also be seen in his rumored affair with former stripper, Joslyn Morse. Joslyn is jumping on the A-rod bandwagon and claiming she had an affair with the baseball player last year. Her profession more than likely means that her breasts are implants, as she is as muscular as the other women in A-rod’s life.
