Since taking over for her brother Gianni Versace, platinum blonde fashion designer Donatella Versace has gone through some drastic changes thanks to plastic surgery.

Through the years, as Donatella has become more artificially tanned and platinum blonde, the 53-year old mother has also turned into a caricature of herself, due to some unfortunate plastic surgery.

Although nose jobs are usually done to make a nose smaller, Donatella’s has grown larger over the years. It is also wider and flatter and slightly crooked, indicating that at least one bad nose job took place.

In addition to her big nose, Donatella also has large lips, like the trout pouts of the Hollywood divas the designer dresses. Although the fashion icon has always had big lips, the oversized upper lip indicates that fillers, like collagen, have been used liberally.

For a 53-year old, Donatella’s skin is very firm, indicating a possible facelift. She probably also uses dermal injectables like Botox to eliminate wrinkles, even when she smiles. Her tight face is a strong contrast to the loose skin on the rest of her body.

Dr. Paul S. Nassif, a facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon and a rhinoplasty specialist in Beverly Hills, California, tells Make Me Heal, “Donatella Versace looks as if she has had an over-aggressive rhinoplasty. She most likely has had a facelift and there is some hollowness around her eyes that might be from an aggressive eyelid surgery. Her lips also look over-inflated possibly from an injectable filler.”

When photographed on an island vacation last week, Donatella’s painfully thin body was uncomfortably reminiscent of her daughter Allegra’s, who is known to suffer from eating disorders in the past. Donatella’s weight loss also revealed her breast implants.

According to plastic surgeon Dr. John Di Saia, “Donatella Versace probably has small 300 cc or so implants.”

Due to the weight loss, Donatella’s implants look painful and pulled, rather than full and perky as they did when she had a curvier figure.

Make Me Heal wishes that Donatella would stay away from the plastic surgeon and out of the sun and in her design studio, doing what Versace does best.
