Bright Eyed Angel

Album Description

I had U/L eyelid surgery done and thus far am already amazed at the results. My surgeon is from Destin Plastic Surgery and is by far my plastic doc for life! I have researched alot and was nervous with reading how some patients had the hollow look under their eyes where their surgeon took out too much fat and the shape of their eyes changed. I discussed the shape of my eyes and that I wanted them to stay almond shaped and not deer in the headlight big round eyes. I didn't even bother asking him not to take too much fat out, after all he was chosen as one of the best 30 surgeons in the world for a reason. I am excited about my results and thankful that I healed so well. One thing I did not do is take the Bromelin 3 times a day.... I missed that on the directions. I only took it once a day which could have made my swelling and bruising go down even more. But, I'm still happy with the quick recovery.

Really nice! I am also have Asian and the same procedure done last Tuesday. My eyes looks slightly rounder because they're not hindered by lower bags anymore and I'm paranoid I'm going to lose my exotic look. But it looks like you kept yours!

Here it is almost the new year and my eyes are still taking shape. I admit that the almond shape in my eyes are more rounder than normal but I have learned to fix my makeup so I still have my half-asian slant in my eyes. I'm thinking about permanent makeup to fix that but not anytime soon. A few months after the surgery I saw a white hair that I thought just needed to be plucked. Nope, it was a very long stitch that was just coming out! It was really weird. Overall I am still excited at the age that was taken off of me due to hereditary bags under my eyes. But, if I could do it again I don't know if I would have done the upper lids because that wasn't a problem area for me. I think this is where people sometimes go overboard, just trying to get results where you don't need it. Still very thankful for my doctor removing some of my "baggage"!

It's been 8 weeks and the numbness has gone down but is still there. My absorbable stitches seem to still be in my skin where it healed. I will ask my doctor about them and make an appt. My eyes are still taking shape and I believe that more time will help them continue to take shape. Will post pictures as soon as I can!

It's been almost a month and I am really surprised at the healing and how my eyes are still taking shape. I was worried last week because one eye still had a little swelling and the shape was a little "off". I kept telling myself it takes time to heal and all will be well. This week I noticed a big difference. So did everyone else! My lower lids are numb and putting eyeliner on feels really weird. Hopefully that goes away. Still excited about how they will look in the upcoming months!
