ugly eyes

Album Description

Nov 2006, when I had my surgery, feeling so emotionally drained, my eyes look so horrible since then... ugly, old and hollow from the upper and lower bleph. I don't recognize my eyes anymore, it's suppose to be the window to your soul, but these aren't my once beautiful eyes.

March 2008, I got Juvaderm put in under the eyes to camouflage the hollowness and it looks better, still hollow but not as severe looking. Would like to get the pearl fat, strip grafting in the future but scared and not sure about which surgeon to go with. If you've had same problem (severe hollowness and eyelid crease too high) and found a solution that worked for you I would love to hear it, thank you.

BTW, I requested a hump be added on my nose for my rhino revision, it may seem odd to some people, but if you lost and missed what you looked like before all you want more than anything is to get it back.

dear biggest mistake
ASIAN eyes are so much different in every way than occidental eyelids
plastic surgeons did the same blepharoplasty on you that they do on everybody and it ruined your natural asian look
the exact same thing happened to my sister TWIN sister
we are irish japanese and started to develop the bags under the eyes like our father,my sister went to a world renowned plastic surgeon ,who proceeded to cookie cutter her eyes like every rich white lady he had ever done, took too much fat out from under her eyes and made her upper crease too high, essentially her ruined her ethnicity, yet he is THE BEST OF THE BEST?????terrible
6 months later we had pictures taken together and you cant even tell that we were once identical....go to brunno ristow in san francisco...he can repair and restore your eyes.

Dr. Meronk's ? site said if you remove fat and muscle it will give you a hollow look. If just the skin is removed then it won't. I told my Dr. this and she just removed the skin with my upper.Ask what did your surgeon remove, then let the new Dr. know, ask question, give all info. maybe there is a solution. Sorry this happened.

Im thinking of getting upper and lower eyes done. I had uppers done about 10 yrs ago. Im more worried about lower job. Ive learned from a plastic surgeon I consulted recently, that a product called hydoxyapatite which is attached to the bone under the hollow socket, is used to build it up. Have you heard of this? Any info on lower eyes would be great. good luck, Karyne

Wow...I'm sorry to hear that!!!I'm 19 and considering the lower eyelid surgery Transconjunctival (incision inside eyelid)...I inherited the bags under my eyes from my mom...I'm kinda of afraid to do it now! I never considered that my eyes could end up hollow. Was this because of the plastic surgeon or is that a possibility?
