Album Description

Lost 118 pounds through low carb diet and exercise, am looking sort of like a sharpei at this point. My arms have bothered me the most, I am still 35 pounds away from goal but I am getting married in Oct the Doctor said I was close enough and have built enough muscle he wanted me to have a full 6 months to heal. Plan to have a TT and breast lift and thigh lift once I am at goal and maintaining for several months.

2 days post op, I cannot stop crying I am so pleased I had this surgery I cant believe they are my arms!!!! The scars look nasty and I am still swollen but very excited and thrilled with the outcome, no pain at all not even taking pain meds!

Wanted to update, it has been 7 months since my arm surgery, best money I could have spent, I have now lost 150 pounds, 25 more to go and then TT and BL are in my future, the arms were a bit premature but I wanted them done for my wedding, and I felt fabulous in my gown!

Thanks for sharing...you look awesome and congrats on the weight loss. Your before pic struck me because it reminds me of me right now. I am 5'11" , blond, very overweight, and I have about 10 years on you. I know it's hard work...good for you. I think having the surgeries will help you maintain the loss....

Well I am 8 days PO,I have to say this is a tough journey! Really very little pain, just difficulty bending my arms they feel more sore and stiff than painful! It is a mixed feeling, I am so happy with the result just looking at these scars is making me nuts!!!!! I am trying to post because I know it is a difficult decision to make the tradeoff is steeper on this than a lot of other surgeries, would I do it again, YES!!!! I am trying to be patient as they heal, I have 6 months until my wedding he is offering to do laser treatments as well. I have to be patient not an easy thing!!!! I was off last week and am planning to work at home next week, then back to the office, carrying things is difficult and reaching for things, I cant even wash my own hair but these are little sacrifices for the long tern result!

Amber, you look beautiful and so happy. I would love to see you on your wedding day, you must be thrilled.
You deserve to feel like this, and to have such beautiful arms you must have worked so hard to lose that weight. So thrilled for you. Scar x
