My surgery is scheduled for May 13, 2011. I am having a circumferential body lift and breast lift with submuscular silicone implants. After 140lbs of weight loss over a 3 year period, I am rewarded with looking like a melted candle =/

---UPDATE: I'm 2 days post op and recovery is going well. In pain but it's manageable. Didn't have to get drains, lipo or muscle tightening with my body lift... can't wait to see the results on my breast lift- appointment tomorrow!

---3 weeks post op and LOVING my results! I went through my ups & downs, like everyone will but it was totally worth it!

---5 weeks post op, went for a turn in a bad direction... had a hematoma form and after draining it, my doctor put in a penrose drain. 6 days later the penrose drain was removed and I contracted both a staph and strep infection. I ended up in the emergency room and had to be operated on to remove the massive pus pocket that had formed. I am now left with two large open wounds, hooked up to a wound vac which requires a home nurse to change dressings and am homebound (can't leave my house). I'm in pain and upset with how things turned out.
