Album Description

My areola/nipple healing journey. All kinds of problems with the blood flow and oxygen to the lower half of my breasts and as a result I'm having massive healing issues. It's really too bad...since I'm so happy that they are perky...too bad I can't enjoy them yet because my nipples are disgusting! Necrosis is really no fun...and I'm not even a smoker!

Hi sweetie, I hope your better now, I too had a bad surgery, actually 2, then I had a third procedure (corrective) by a surgeon who knew what he was doing, did you get good aftercare ? if not and your still not good and happy, think about a claim.. dont let them get away with it, there are good surgeons and there are bad ones, believe me I know, and I know a good one who gave me my life back..

I just have to say I could never go through something that looks as painful as those pictures. How did you cope? How long did it take you to heal completely? I know I won't do that incision. At least your not going to run around naked all the time at least your nipples will be covered most of the time.

I'm so sorry this happened to you. My heart truly goes out to you. Never feel like you brought this on yourself. No one would. I'm glad to hear you finally are happy 6 years later, but no matter what don't ever let anyone make you feel like anything less because this. Always remember plastic surgery is just to make our outside look like we feel on the inside. Good luck!

I also had problems healing which caused alot of problems with my family,I just would not heal, and then when I did I would be left with painful scars that hurt and did not look right. My family kept saying I brought this on my self because it was something I wanted to do.I had 6 surgerys to fix the first one,I think its just the way you heal its pot luck,I had my last surgery 3 weeks ago, thats 7 surgerys in 6 years because you have to heal first before they will do another this one finally looks good.I would have never thought it would take this long but it did,my Dr used every type of sutures he could think of hoping it would heal, cat gut, nylon, hyper alergetic, nothing worked just 7 surgerys, one to fix the other until we got it right,my family was sick of watching the kids and catering to me every so many months it was starting to look like I was hooked on this plastic surgery thing when all I wanted was to fix my painful scars that people were sick of hearing about so if anyone out there thinks its easy just hope for the best and prepare for the worst im finally happy now 6 years later. Hi do you have any recent pics? I had the same problem under my nipple. I am scared to death. They are saying it isnt Necrosis. My skin isnt black but the problem is that I dont have any skin there at all. Please can you help with info on how you are treating it and may some pics. The lack of knowlege is killing me.
