Album Description

I've had three children and with each have gone up in size. At the age of 15 I was hit really hard against the chest on a roller coaster ride and thus developed a lump in my left breast. At the time of this much needed reduction I also had the tumor removed. I will have to consult an oncologist as cancer was found. I am happy to be in this place in my life no matter what. My heartfelt thanks to my PS for all the care he has given me. Life is good!! Many of my photos will not load and I made plenty. I gave up and will try posting more in future with more close up's of healing.

Well let's see. I appreciate the nice posts by everyone. They have kept me encoraged these many months since my news of DCIS. The excitement at having this procedure finally come to fruition dimmed quite a bit with news of Early Stage Breast cancer in Nov. I won't go into the emotional aspect of that. I will say that as of this morning I was given the fantastic news that there is no sign of invasive cancer and the pathology shows negative. So much of terminology goes in one ear and out the other. I try to understand what I'm told and have to look much of it up afterwards once I get home. Positive and negatives have different meanings with cancer diagnosis. Anyways, I'm going to pass on the radiation that I feel is being pressured upon me. In the upcoming months I hope to get a start on the revisions I've discussed before concerning te areola shape and size. Then there is extra tissue underneath along the incisions that need removal. It's all in God's hands. (Doc's too) lol. I'm considering posting newer pics some even clothed!!

That is wonderful Sheshore that you are very happy now. At this time I am also. In my description to the left I am quite sure I mentioned the fact I had a LUMP which has been sliced and cut and analyzed and confirmed to have cancer. MY surgeon who I will always regard as a life saver not only took out something deadly in my body but gave me renewed energy and life for years to come.In his time trying to fill in the area where the lump was taken from I am positive he had to consider nipple placement. At my last visit he measured the length and made note as to where they are placed and yes he made comment they are a bit higher than he'd have liked. Upon my next visit revisions will be discussed. Your concern has been noted and addressed. Implants are not in my future.

When I look at the result, it concerns me how high your nipples are. That is what happened with my reduction. You can research how far from the breast crease the nipple should be. I ended up having to have mine redone. They took a crescent shaped piece of skin from the crease area to pull the nipples down and I had a implant put up higher on the breast to fill out. I had the redo by Dr. Messa in Weston, FL. Very happy now.

You look absolutely amazing; I have my 2nd consult with my PS tomorrow and surgery on Nov 23rd. I hope I look as good as you do a few months after surgery.

My own comment.....lol. If you click to view these photos you will have a full screen shot. There are only the three I posted and personally I think these are the better viewing size. Sry. I tried.
Revision questions are on my mind next week when I visit PS. Smaller and rounder shaped areola area. Completely satisfied with size. Fits my frame now.
