Hi, sorry for the multiple posts - didn't realize they were all on here!

Thank you for sharing these; my GF just underwent a double mastectomy with the skin-sparing procedure (plus implants and lat flaps) and the plastic surgeon grafted the nipples back on. She's one week post-surgery and we're hoping the nipples don't die. What color were yours one week out? Hers have some pink but also some very dark red. She had her first follow-up appt. with the doctor's nurse and she said that one nipple is looking really really good but the other one, she wasn't so sure about. I know we can fix it down the line with another skin graft or tattooing if necessary, just wanted to know if you went through the very dark red thing too. It's nerve-wracking!

What a great result. I've looked at your pics before... seriously, one of the best jobs I've seen! Congrats, honey!

Wow! What a huge difference. Thank you for posting all of your pictures. It really gives me hope for the future, sometimes you forget that there is light at the end of the tunnel. The healing process has not been easy so far. I especially love the picture of you in your old bra. That is a great idea for a picture, I am glad I have not gotten rid of all my old bras yet.

Hi Maryanne..you look wonderful, I can imagine how good you must feel. Thank you very much for your help., I really appreciate it.
I will talk to you soon.
