6 Months Later Update -- Had 1 time of Botox which helped keep my forehead smooth, outer eye area looking good -- Need another now :-) Even though I'm a smoker, I have kept just under 1/2 of the fat fill and still LOVE how much better my face looks! The fat transfer worked great in my lips and cheeks, though under my eyes not as well. I can now see some bags and the "tired" look but definately not like my "before" photo's... Saw a specialist in Dallas when traveling who said the fat transfer takes much better the 2nd time as the "new blood" flow to the first fat transfer is already established -- Makes SENSE, but can't afford a 2nd time... yet :-) No new photo's... but will get my 6+ month one up soon.

I don't think I will show up for any more "follow" up visits. I've learned alot, spent a ton (this was a one-time shot for me), and will post photo's... I sure know more about face care than I ever did. But... wish I knew what I know now :-)

I have changed my Doctor's rating from a 5 to a 3. This is soley due to her comments during the course of our appts. You all looking to DO any type of plastic surgery, I would really say -- "TAPE the first conversation" ~~ Not worth a court thing. I'm just saying what is said before treatments with me was definately NOT what I've been told during my visits after 1 month, and now 6 weeks later. 6 week visit I'm now being told in 6 months to 1 year from now, she would like to do this all again!! I went in for my consult and asked, Do I need a face lift or what would you recommend? This was it because, "it would last 10 years, and be YEARS before I needed to DO anything else, maybe a touch up with Botox in a couple years"... Exact words from Doc -- 1 month and now 6 weeks later... Botox NOW (not touch up in 2 years)... and NOW another go round -- STILL mostly happy with what I got. NOT happy it's wasn't said up front. I should have spent mayve a little more (or the same), and gone to see the PRO at fat fills I've read about after, who pioneered fat fill.
So rating on this doctor is Down.

3 weeks was a BIG Turning Point! Swelling just went down, doctor said 50% of Fat Fill STAYED :-) yeah!!! Can't get a good picture as under eyes are NOT looking like this in REAL life -- but 3 weeks was Definately the big settle in Time!

2 Weeks Today and WOW!! Seriously the red under my eyes does NOT look as bad as the "flash" in the camera makes them seem!!! My skins feels SO healthy, full and I can't wait each week to see how more beautiful it gets :-)

Ok must have been taking too many OxyCodone -- the mole WAS there before!!! omg :-) After Appt today (Friday Feb 12) face routine switch to Hydrocordozine (spelling) for itching and redness, Chifil (walgreens moisturer) gentle moisturizer and sunscreen -- But... I don't GO any were except out for Doc appts!!

I am patient! I know all this will look MUCH better at 1 month -- so until then... I'm a vampire inside waiting hahaha!

NO pain issues. Do not know if that was because after laser Doc did a few days of closed healing (that helped keep swelling/skin heal), but I am THRILLED pain management has been wonderful and I feel like I went to sleep for surgery and "semi" awake now healing -- hope that makes sense?

Will GET a new photo up now that I am almost 2 weeks Post-Op! Can not WAIT to see in another 2 weeks what it all looks like.

Post Op Day 8 -- Ok today while de-braiding (spelling?) my skin I see a MOLE where there was not one before!!! Dang it had doc appt yesterday and didn't notice, another sppt Friday where I will DEFINATELY ask WHAT is this??? New skin has NO memory :-( Of course every day it's better and better and I feel GREAT, even if I still look like OMG!! :-)

Thanks GypsyGirl that's the way to think about it! One week on pain meds and wow -- while still swollen and bruised "looking", my skin is great and I feel good.

Definately a case of Looking much worse, than it feels ;-) and for one week? Pffft nothing in that for such gains in the long run.

Wow!! You are healing quickly and the fullness in your face looks great. I do know you are still swollen but when all settles. You'll look Fabulous.
I love the lips also. I guess I can handle it for a week if my skin heals as nicely as yours. I feel much more at ease seeing the difference in such a short time.

1 week ago I had surgery! WOW I can't wait till the bruises fade and some of the fat goes away and some swelling -- BUT my skin feels and looks about 20 years old only!!! WOW So far, GREAT

My face is FATTER after the Retin A use, still peeling a bit, but SURGERY day is Monday, Feb 1 -- Wish I used this back in my 30's!!
