Album Description
After having two children I noticed my uterus had dropped. My dr said it was stage 1, but that I also had a stage 2 bladder and rectal prolapse. I had no symptoms of the bladder or rectal prolapse. My dr used a laser to repair the bladder and rectal prolapse. She said fixing these two should help the uterine prolapse a little; she said uterine suspension surgeries didn't always work and wouldn't help much more (plus she didn't perform those surgeries). My online research also indicated uterine suspension surgeries got mixed reviews.
Pain after surgery was pretty bad, but manageable with pain meds. You'll definitely need help after, preferably 24/7 care for at least a week! I was most comfortable when staying off my feet. I felt better after I removed the vaginal packing after 24 hours, and even better after removing the catheter I had in for 5 days.
More to come, hopefully with pictures too. Msg me if you have any questions!
