I am paying physically, emotionally and financially after Dr. Rod Rohrich convinced me that I needed the multiple procedures listed when all I was seeking was a rested look. I am still under the care of an ophthalmologist specializing in dry eye, an ophthalmic plastic surgeon and ophthalmic neurologist seven months post operatively. I chose Dr. Rohrich for what I thought was his high level of skill, but found him to be very unprofessional and uncaring, especially after I developed complications. Procedures that normally take 5 to 6 hours, he completed in just over 3 hours. He also allowed medical personnel in training to assist even though I specifically indicated verbally and in writing that NO students be allowed in the OR during my surgery. Do not fall under the spell of credentials on paper or lofty titles, but look for a physician who gets consistently good results, willingly takes time to answer all questions and is honest when it comes to discussing possible complications BEFORE you go under the knife.
