My Personal Statement:
Where to start? I got married young and had children young. I was done making my family by the time I was 20. Ive always been a stay at home mom to my 4 kids, my 2 step sons and my 2 daughters. I love it so much, theres no job out there that is this fulfilling!
I had my youngest daughter on my 20th birthday.
As soon as I stopped breastfeeding her I realized I loved having larger breasts. In 3 years I had been pregnant twice and breastfed for 14 months. So I had been living with D cup breast almost that whole time. When I stopped breastfeeding I went from my D cups to a large B cup. Before having had kids I was a medium C cup. So I decided to look into breast augmentation.
It was then that I really started looking at my stomach, I felt way to young to have the stomach that I did. I didnt gain much weight at all while pregnant, 19 pounds, but my skin has no elasticity and I ended up with horrible stretch marks up to my ribs!! I was horrified, to be 20 and not be able to wear a bikini is not a fun thing. I missed my pre pregnancy body. It became a huge focus for me, I thought about my stomach 24-7.
So I just decided one day that I would start researching about getting both a breast augmentation and a tummy tuck at the same time.
I got a full tummy tuck and silicone breast implants. I was a 36 B before my surgery and now I am a 36 D. I had 365 and 395 cc implants placed above the muscle, my incision was in the breast fold.
I must say I love it, you can barely see where the scar is!
There really wasnt a huge difference in my pre op and post op waist size, I was fairly petite before and after and my weight didnt change. Just the extra skin and most of the stretch marks removed. Although I did go down one pants size, to a 4 from a 6, since that extra skin no longer pushed out over the top of my jeans.
Im very happy with my results! I do have a little scar tissue, capsular contracture, around my right implant, but that is a risk that comes with the territory. Its not bad enough to require surgery and it still in no way makes me regret having gotten my surgery done!
I would do it over again in a heart beat and tell that to anyone willing to listen.
My surgery gave me back the confidence that I needed. AFter my surgery I finally felt like the 21 year old that I was! I can wear a bikini now and feel good in it!!!!
For anyone out there considering getting a procedure done heres my 2 cents.
Research every part of it, if you feel comfortable and have weighed the pros and cons of it all and have found a good doctor you can be confident in,,,,then GO FOR IT!! You only live once, dont spend years focusing on something that you dislike about yourself, get it fixed and move on with your life!
